Midweek
Following Jesus isn't just about Sunday mornings.
See below for ways that St James' engages with the community throughout the week and ways in which you can engage with us.

Places of Welcome
Every Wednesday afternoon between 3pm and 4.30pm the church offers FREE tea/coffee and cake to anyone in the community. You don't have to be a church member to attend, everyone is welcome.
We meet in the lounge and there's often a quiz and/or an optional craft activity, or if you just want to pop in for a quick cuppa, that's fine too.
People who attend say:
“Place of Welcome is a fantastic idea because it provides a weekly time and place for social interaction, which I thoroughly enjoy.”
“POW is a place where I am welcome, and it’s a friendly atmosphere.”

Toddlers
'n' Toast
Our Toddler Church meets at 9:30 every 2nd & 4th Thursday in the church.
We share a story from the bible and sing praises together, before moving through for play time and, or course, toast!
A time to share life together. All babies, toddlers and their families welcome.

Home
Groups
Home groups are a great way of deepening our faith outside of regular Sunday services. With discussion, prayer and exploration of the Bible in the comfort of someone's home. It's a great way to get to know fellow Christians too.
We have a number of Home Groups at St James'. Click the link below to register your interest and we'll let you know what spaces are available.
