St. James, Bolton
Bolton, St James PCC have choosen to suspend Sunday public worship for the time-being due to the current national lockdown. We realise that public worship is exempt from the directive to 'stay at home' but feel given the current high infection and transmission rates of the virus it is safer to close. We will continue to have a weekly act of worship on our website (plus other regular online worship activities), and seek to support the congregation and parish in whatever way we can.'

We are re-opening!
We are pleased to report that we are reopening for public worship on Good Friday 2/4 at 2pm for an hour's reflection at the cross and then each following Sunday (from Easter Sunday) at 10.30.
All visitors will need to wear a face covering (apart from those exempt), and social distancing measures will be in place. There will be no congregational singing, and people are asked not to mingle and to leave the building straight after the service ends.
